They are good for the price, bracket needs work as it moves and gouges the paint a bit.

OCD Sunday wiring,

Mounting the control box inside the engine bay and the original wiring wasn't long enough, still have to do active and earth.

Does a winch momentarily draw more current than what is written in the tech specs? I am going to fit an inline fuse between control box and battery. What I want to know is if I should get a time delay or fast acting.

Max current draw of my winch is 335A

Image

This 350A ANL fuse has a delay of 8-10 seconds for 150%, 5 seconds for 200% and 1 second for 300% over the 350 amp rating.

Thoughts on this before I make the brackets?

Blue drink bottle is the windscreen washer, poly fabricator is making me one to suit the original pump.

IP68 fuse and relay box, winch control, remote oil filter relocation, winch fuse and isolator.

Factory box will get spacers so it sits up higher and I'll run the cables underneth.

Winch 350A ANL fuse and albright isolator will mount on the secondary fuel filter bracket. (Waiting on the isolator)

Remote oil filter relocation.

The alternative is to have the relay and fuse box mounted parrallel to the factory box then rejig the winch control and washer bottle.

Personally I think the above post is the way to go as long as no issue with your winch cables

In cab switches, the remote supplied is a backup but thinking of running an extension to the bar without having to pop the bonnet.

Yeah having to pop the bonnet to winch would suck. Quick query where did ya get the remote oil filter setup?

your fuse will be fine luke, electric motor max current draw is measured when the motor is stalled, it cant get any higher unless you short a cable out. awesome build by the way, very impressive
