My 2014 sr5 slow build [denso snorkel installed]

Postby Theprospector on Sun, 01 Feb 2015 8:12 +0000

So this is my first toyota hilux. Traded in the old pootrol and brought this in September.
Mods so far are
icom ic 440
ARB left hand side recovery
ARB deluxe Winch bar colour coded
25 mm snake racing spacers
3 x rally 4000 spot lights with hid conversion
Superfit seat covers.
Flash light mount in between back seat
Window tint

Soon to be done is a 3inch exhaust and some rubber.
I'm also in the process of drawing up and making my own tray

Nice start, interesting idea with the torch holder, looks neat.
Cheers,

Gotta ask, did you knock that up or where did you get it?

Fitted a 3 inch manta exhaust today.
Sound is good. Bit more poke on the lower rpm.

I have also been playing around with a pod filter. I will make a airbox soon and finish it off

Just a note on the pod filter, MCM did a bit of testing with them. it looks like it wouldn't be worth your time to custom make a box, just get a better OEM fit filter.
