im booked in for my 40k capped srvice on wednesday so ill fit up my bash plates once thats done
Ive also had a chat to matt from monster rides to get some flares as the tyres stick out a good 50mm and hes sending me up some sr5 flares as a temporary measure as hes got some new gear coming out soon that im getting, so watch this space!

I got the lift installed at CRD Tuning NQ, excellent blokes theyve helped me out quite a bit. I also got the injector driver installed for the unichip while it was there a a new tune so its going really well.

All ive got left to do now is build my tray, which ill start next week
install the bash plates, provent and diff breathers which are in my garage ready to go and fit some flares when they arrive.

ill hopefully get some flex and action shots in the next week or so once i sort out my wheel clearances and such.
cheers, shaun

yeah the lift and tyres made a huge difference,
off the top of my head it was $2500 for the chip and injector driver plus a couple of hundred for dyno time but ill have to dig through my receipts box to confirm the price
im still waiting on a bluetooth module to finish it off, should be here in the next few weeks

yeah, pretty happy with them so far, they are only just audible at highway speeds, my awning makes more wind noise than the tire howl. Itll be interesting to see how long they last. And they looks the business :D

i went with the matrix kit same as the reckon stage 2 just with matrix shocks instead of the reckon ones, also got 2 inch lifted medium duty rear springs on the standard height shackles

i got my bodymount chopped today as the 33's were scrubbing pretty bad, my mate is the manager at a panel beater so i figured hed do a neater job than me, came up pretty good and i know have heaps of clearance.
its also going back on the dyno tomorrow for a few hours just to check the maps and see if i can get anymore out of it.
Ill get some pics of the bodymounts and massaged guard liners tommorrow

well after a very drunk weekend i got out today and finished massaging the guard liners to clear the 33,s. i had to cut out the whole front section and remove the brackets but it now clears everywhere, i still need to go find a rut to test my clearances on full compression but it clears everything so far
heres some pics
Image
i just used a heat gun and welding glove to push the guard liner back
Image
its a bit hard to see but i put some split conduit over the washer bottle hose and cable to try and protect it a bit now the liners been cut back
Image
heaps of room now
Image
the body mount chopped back
Image

i also ordered steel for my tray which will be delivered friday, so next week ill start fabbing it up, i just need to go pinch my mates mig welder as im not to keen on spending the next year tigging it all up

last friday it also spent a few hours on the dyno getting new firmware uploaded to the unichip and a bit more of a tune. its going really well but we had to drop it back a bit as it was chucking a code and going into limp mode when set to high. im still waiting for a bluetooth module to land in australia then itll be back in to get a few different maps

Nice build thread.
Audio install is very neat and looks good.
What model where the Polk splits?
Also are you satisfied with the lightfroce 215's and would you happily purchase them again?
Cant wait to see the tray.

cheers mate,
the splits are 6 1/2 polk db6501's. they go pretty well for a mid price split. As for the spotties, i couldnt be happier, i was going to get a lightbar as well but the LED215's pump out so much light im not going to bother. id definately buy them again.

another small update today
got my car dynod and tuned again with the unichip, i ended up with 135kw and over 400nm of torque at the flywheel, i can definately get more but its started throwing fault codes from to much rail pressure, as it is its plenty quick enough for now. rhys my tuner also installed a sprintbooster for me to trial to see if i like it, first impression is good, takes off heaps harder but ill have to have a decent play with it and see if i like it. while it was in there i got them to fit up my provent finally (ive been slack and now its lifted i struggle to get in the engine bay) rhys (crd tuning nq) did it for nothing and i cant recommend him highly enough, top bloke!
dyno printout
Image
i also got a redarc pyro/boost guage while i was there that ill fit up next week, i plan on fibreglassing up a pillar pod for it and will need to get another bung welded into my dump pipe which ill sort out monday (im not confident enough with my welding to do it myself)
Image
Im also getting steel dropped off for my tray build monday so itll be a busy couple of weeks for me coming up
