Today I decided I had enough with the wheel wobble and went ahead and replaced the Coopers with BF AT 265/70/16.I also got s good deal with some 10" wheels with -10 offset.ImageImage

Guys I recently noticed that when I park and switch off the car after some driving I hear a sound like water dripping fast into a bucket or something....is that water return from the radiator to the overfill or something? Is it normal? Untill few days ago I thought I had a water spill from the house going into the central drainage in the garage lol untill realized its coming from the car...

Have you got any more pics with spacers fitted? Always wanted to see what the oem wheels look like with some offset.

Just a few pics after having all the chrome parts painted in pure matt black and with the new rims on.Although I liked it how it looks now, I forgot to paint the front part of the intercooler vent..Next thing on the list some rock sliders and hood air deflector in matt black alsoImageImageImage

alexisdmtr, Looks good with the black bits, was thinking of doing similar with mine.
Did you do it yourself or get someone to do it for you? Is it paint or plastidip?

Didnt want to start another thread so here it goes guys.....has anyone of you ever heard about hydrogen use for diesel cars?i was talking to a guy who sells his lux with this thing installed and he says it gives him more power and much better economy...any real info on this?

Fatherinlaw tried it on his Patrol (4.2 Non Turbo) and he said that it worked well enough. Fuel consumption dropped a bit when in use. His was a home made unit that was VERY McGyver'd. Drew 30-40 amps constantly but he could never get it working as well as he had it in his mind.
He tried several things to save a bit of fuel. Even put 1 litre of Unleaded into a 70L of diesel (which he said worked well) and with the Petrol and Hydrogen combined was okay.

IMHO the time it took his to shag around and play with it he couldve worked a Saturday on OT and saved more than he did spending days on end trying to save half as much :)

Creating Hydrogen from water to either substitute or supplement the fossil fuel resulting to eliminate or reduce consumption.

This might give you some idea ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbVcRFzXn14

Thanks alot Scot...i just couldnt get how it could be implemented in the car...for a 450€ that the kit costs i might start thinking about it.I just dont know what the negative effects from it could be

From what I've seen the Negatives include placing large electrical loads on the Alternator and the pure volatility of having Hydrogen under the bonnet.
The FIL did his experimental set up that allowed only small amounts of gas to be stored at any one time reducing the risk of explosions. He was drawing 30ish amps constantly which should be okay on a 55Amp+ alternator.
I'd like to see how a decent set up runs with a 100+Amp alternator and possibly a 60+Amp Hydrogen set up.

If anyone manages to get a system running Id love to see the data. The theory makes sense but I'm not in to R&D, I value my time more than that for any small savings.

Don't waste your time and money. They use more energy than they are capable of producing. Basic physics.

Instead of opening a new thread i thought to post it in my build. So yesterday i went over a couple of those stupid road bumbs they use to slow cars down in school zones and noticed a loud metal thud under the car.when i checked it later on i only found out this mark over the front right strut which i cant explain when and how it happened.I do most of my driving on highways and when offroad i am really careful and never overspeed or abuse the carImage.I measured the distance between the two front struts and have 6mm difference to each other. What do you guys think happened?or whats the problem?
