Hi
am relatively new here and just worked out how to post pics, so I thought id show my build.

Started of as a stock standard white 07 SR dual cab, skinny 29" tyres, only extra on there was a carryboy canopy, had 70k kms.

on condition of purchase I got a towbar, tint including canopy windows and canvas seat covers

I have a pic somewhere of it standard..... but i am sure we all know what they look like.

first of I scored a set of allied black thunder 16×8 rims with 30 " dualers for $700, i had them fitted but and they stuck out heaps so I ordered flares asap. ( see pic above) and scored a tjm ally bar to mount my hella 4000s I had in my shed from my cruiser.

next I custom made a storage set up for the tray, permanent mounted blue tongue compressor , 2
0 L water tank, and fridge mount, removable centre divider means I can still use the full lenghtnof my tray when I need to, this set up allows maximum storage.....

A snorkel was a must, most terrifying experience having to put a hole saw through the panel! But after reading some horror stories and knowing what service was like in Darwin at the time I figured
Id be best using my boily skills and install it myself.

Imageo next I installed a 300w pure sine wave inverter....

and grew sick of feeling like I am driving a boat, so I booked in to get a 2" ironman lift, 7500lbs winch fitted, 265/75/16 muddies

Am very happy with th iron man lift and it has had some punishment, taken it from Darwin to Perth via the Kimberly, up cap leveque where corrugated roads threw the misses of the road and many local trips here around perth, Harvey dam ....

Imageo the need for more storage space was required, as I enjoy a bit of kayaking I needed a roof rack so tjm got the job with a rhino tradie rack with high lift jack mount and kayak rack, I also installed some lights, 20" iron man LED on the bullbar, 2× 10" led lights on the roof rack and 2 x led revers lights on the towbar

By this stage I have decided I am moving to Perth from Darwin, so it was the perfect opportunity for a road trip, I also decided as I have added so many electronic extras and there was wires and fuses everywhere I would get it all rewired neatly! Thru 1 fuse block... so I got my auto sparkie mate to re wire everything, he did an awesome job, made a whole wiring loom from front to back all run through 1 fuse block, he also wired up my new uhf, used arb style switches and I was wrapped with the outcome.....

A new sony head unit and speakers was needed, 6.5" sonys in the front and 6x9 alpines inthe rear....

and it all paid of half way through my road trip, I took a back track from Kunnanarra to Wyndam, shook the car to bits ....wellthe roofrack anyways, the hold down boltscame looseand the rack slipped back, the rear bracket come completely out and the only thing holding it on was the led light bar wiring.. close call

pillar pod, saasboost gauge and autron dualbattery gauge, forgot to mention I am running a Red ark dual battery system, seems to work great, only issue with the dual battery gauge is damn it is bright at night when it is on the whitelight, set on blue now and is heaps better....
