Well got it all in there last nite, was a bit of fabricating involved to get the control box to fit but the result was good. If this thing performs as good as it looks then it should be a good thing. Now to get rid of this hangover so I can go and test it and stretch the rope out. Good to finally fill in the big hole in the front of the bar too!

Looks like I'll be ordering my new suspension ahead of schedule! Lesson of the day, don't use strut spacers!

Well guys been a while since I've done an update. full OME suspension kit went in after bending that front strut. Got a little board today and put a stripe on the bonnet. Looks the goods I reckon.

Here you go mate. I should be putting a patent on these brackets with the amount of people who stop me to ask about them. Fabed them up from some 3mm plate with a 90° bend on the bottom so they sit flat in the groove of the roof. Then made the cross brace to take out any side movement. Bolted and urethaned to the roof with a nut plate I made for the inside of the roof. Solid as a rock!!

Well had a Shitty weekend just passed as some weak prick decided that I didn't need my light bar anymore and relieved me of it on Saturday night! Had a productive week tho and finished roof console v2.0. Now I've got room for all my switches and it's a little more refined than the last one.

Been a while but here's a bit of a update on the build. Got an arb air compressor under the bonnet now, picked up a nice recovery kit and high lift jack from the 4x4 expo last month so have started on a set of toolboxs for in the tub. Still haven't decided where to mount the jack yet, any ideas?? Got a set of reversing lights installed and put an led in the underside of each door trim which work a treat when out bush at nite. The main project I've been working on and almost finished is my bullbar. Got my hands on a slightly damaged deluxe winch bar off a triton and went to work cutting it up, making some mounts and bending some tube. Still gotta make a top tube but was goin camping on the weekend so I wanted it on there. I reckon it looks like the goods so far.

I must say, I do like, looks sweat, nice work buddy..................

Well been a while since I've done any work on the ute but the finally started on my tray build. Let the games begin!

Well been out of the lux for a couple of weeks now cos I had to have a hernia repaired so the tray has gone on hold till I'm fully healed and able to lift things again. 2 full weeks in the couch so and it was doin my head in so I went out and had a go a putting my catch can in. Was a breeze thanks to The Roos little write up, finally no more sludge goin into my engine!

Broke out the CAD ( cardboard aided design ) system today, knocked up a new transfer case guard and another for a mate. Also put a restrictor plate in the egr, made a bit of difference. Will lead to a cleaner engine and that's the main thing.
