Well yesterday arvo while out shooting I heard a familiar noise, a whine coming from under the bonnet! Another dead alternator! Replaced the factory one with a rebuilt unit from bansheebuzz a few years and maybe 50k ks ago. Didn't really have the cash to do it ended up getting a 130 amp unit from repco. Now sits on a nice healthy 14v no matter how hard I run the stereo! Also started upgrading the wiring, ran a length of 2b&s from the alt up the the fuse box. Just have to order a nice big anl fuse holder to become the new alt 150amp fuse.ImageImageImageImage

I just got my custom dual sub boxes in the post, installed them behind the back seats today, but cant get the back seat hooks back into the loops, is there a trick or a small mod to the hook i could do to get them back on?

I remember reading about upgrading the housing bolts to 10mm somewhere, can anyone remember?? Also gunna do the rear wheel bearings while I've got the axles out if anyone know of the best place to get them? Cheers!

I've found Allied Bearings to be a good place for bits like that.

I wonder if it's the same mob, the ebay store is allied auto online. Might be worth sending them a message to ask what brand of bearings they use in their kits.
