Very nice build mate, love the mods! However I reckon when you did the bar the first time with no hoops it looked absolutely mint!! Still looks the goods with the hoop but personal preference for me is all or none. Keep it up mate.

Cheers

Cheers ultra! Pretty much just put the hoop on for some extra mounting points and a little driving light protection. I love the look of them hoopless too! Cheers!

Give the big girl a quick service today b4 my trip to the vic high country next weekend. Been very nervous about looking up the sump plug hole for the past few weeks since I read the threads about oil pick up screens getting blocked up with carbon, but thankfully breathed a big si of relief when I seen it was all clear! Ready to hit the tracks now, can't wait!

Did a little more high country prepping today. After doin my body lift ages ago the rubber boot around the steering shaft has torn because of the angle it's being pulled on so I pulled it out to see what I could do with it. Turns out a stubbie holder fits perfectly! A little urethane and some stainless steel tie wire and good as gold! No to hit some creek crossings and test it out.

The speedo I pulled apart and put blue cellophane and all the center and switches I replaced the bulbs with leds. One of the members on here has a write up on how to do it and what size leds you need, there a couple different sizes you need.

Another tip, grab some plasticx for those headlights, they'll come up like new. Looks a little hazy in those last photos

Yeh hazing is inevitable especially when running through abrasives like mud. Stick some of my projectors in and clear that lens up and you'll think you've got your spotties on! ;)

they're those bulb looking things that modern cars use instead of a halogen reflector, they focus the light down to a more intense beam instead of spreading it everywhere. You don't blind people with HIDs also because the light is 'cutoff' with a shield inside. they are retrofitted into your normal reflector and a hid is installed at the same time
