Well I attempted to install the winch on Sunday, didn't happen!!!!
The fair lead bolts interfere with the mounting of the winch, will need to space the winch of the bar to enable bolts to be tightened up. Can't lower the fair lead to the bottom holes for the winch mounting as the fair lead opening is then only half accessible. I rotated the free spool lever so that its operational from the top, but then it's again half covered and tight to the underside of the bar, meaning that it can't be pulled up, so have rotated it back around so that you I can reach it from behind the grill. Just means opening the bonnet to free spool. Figured I will mount the control box in here also. Not such a simple bolt in install as I thought.

Not the Lux, but got some new tyres fitted to the Prado today.
Kumho MT51, look bloody good and by all reports from the missus they aren't noisy.
265/70 r17, $295 a corner from Kmart tyre and auto

Hey mate you need an offset fair lead. Will sort your winch mounting issues without resorting to spacing it out (which sounds a bit risky)

Haven't used it yet mate. Went out on the weekend with the big boys (4" plus lifts and double locked) but ended up driving every track :)
