Looks good, and an ambitious list! It's nice to see an SR in a color other than white.

Hey mate nice photos.

Pick up my new hilux (SR 2014) in a few weeks and I like the look of your Utemart flares. Could I ask which model flares you purchased from Utemart and if you installed them yourself without any worries?

Looking at getting an ARB deluxe winch bar that will marry up with some aftermarket flares.

Cheers

Cheers Stepper,
Not exactly sure what model they are but if you give Utemart a call they will sort you out. The owner, (Len or similar) is very very knowledgeable and helpful. He will know exactly what you need for your ARB bar.
I fitted mine. Wasn't hard to get them on just took some time to get them flush all the way round. You just need to work and experiment to find where they need pressure to make them sit perfectly. I used a couple of extra screws on one to get them perfect. More pressure. But overall not a hard job but can be fiddly.
The gap between my bar and flares is because the TJM bar doesn't replace the bumper rather it just goes on over the bumper. The gap is going to be filled with more flare from Utemart.
Best of luck with it.

Just thought I'd give a quick update of where the truck is up to.

Found a set of FJ Cruiser rims which have gone on. Set of Lightforce 240Blitz converted to 55w HID.

TJM Steps and rails bolted on.
Also have put on my set of Supafit seatcovers in black canvas. Great product and give discounts to Newhilux members.

Hi,

Im currently looking at getting the same car! If auto ;)
Ive got a question in regards to the rear sports bar on the tray thats currently on yours. Is if removable so i can install a SR5 tray sports bar instead?

Also is the top side of the tray the same dimensions as the sr5 tray seeing as though the tie down points are different? If you would know.. If not no dramas :)

Cars starting to take shape well done!

Awesome,
No need for a sr5 with all the 14 models extras, I love mine.

Do yourself a favour and get a carbon car systems reverse camera, one of the cheapest and best things I did to mine.

Looking good mate - wished I had of remembered to get a discount on my seat covers

I like the look of that TJM bar too. I was just about sold on an ARB sahara but couldn't stand the cost...then a rhino 4x4 which is the same story. I might have to go with the outback deluxe. Certainly a good look.

What sized rims and tyres did you end up with? I've got an SR 2014 extra cab. I bought a set of 15" alloy rims from an SR5, off Gumtree. When I finally got around to fitting them, I realised the front disc rotor shroud was too big, and 15" rims wouldn't fit on my SR. Did you have to modify anything to get your rims on? I looked on a few sites, but I couldn't find any info on what rims do and don't fit on SR models. I bought he ute new, with 17x6 steel rims.
