Hey guys

Lately I've been on here a great deal so i thought it was time for me to start my own build thread.

A little history of my purchase,
I purchased my 2009 dual cab with 53k on the clock in July 2013, it was stock except for the anti-rust unit and anti-rust spray that was applied by previous owner
Modifications so far include:
-XRox Bar
-Octane Tinted windows
-Monster Rides stage 2 rekon with Buds extended shackles at rear (dialled to 4" on front)
-Redarc BC-DC charger with red arc 200amp solenoid with override switch
-Optima yellow top battery as 2nd battery
-Outback accessories roof console
-GME TX 3500s
-GME AE4705 antenna
-285x75x16, 33" KM2's on Black 16" sunraysias

Here is when i got it stock.

A few months ago i also made this bracket that attaches to my ARB tray which i made to mount my Auxillary DC Block. I sprayed it black and added an ARB sticker i had lying around to match my Battery tray..

Nice ride.
Can I ask, why the bcc charger and solenoid? Why not just one?

The bcdc charger and solenoid is really an overkill for me atm, but for the long run its for the added security if the crank battery somehow goes flat I'm able to jump start through a switch in the cab connecting the 2 batteries through the solenoid.

I finally popped my head under to have a look at my suspension to find out what this rattling sound was to find out it was the cap that covers the uniball on the UCA wasn't installed properly, so rather than the o-ring sealing it from water etc. it was just sitting inside the uniball area and the cap was rattling around with 3-4mm of free movement allowing moisture to get in and rust

Other than this little mistake from the installer i can't say enough about the monster rides kit!! :D

I just wanna see what suggestions i can get for removing the rust? and how to go about it?

Any help would be much appreciated..
