Fedorgnp's Build

Postby Fedorgnp on Tue, 11 Feb 2014 9:47 +0000

I bought her in 09 but wanted to wait till she got out of warranty before I started modifying her. Just in case anything went wrong I did not want Toyota to blame it on the modifications. So as soon as she turned 3 it was time for her birthday presents.
Image

First set of mods were the Bull bar, snorkel, Winch, Under body protection, lift and suspension, UHF radio, Awning, coopers and rims.
Image

That's her out camping. And I Just got E lockers Front and back.
Image

Then I got ARB Floodlights, Rhino Roof Rack And a yellow top dual battery with the Ctek 250s Charger.
Image

Close up of the battery I installed with the Ctek Charger.
Image

I have left out heaps but I will get close up photos and add them.

Re: Fedorgnp's Build - Back canopy mods

Postby Fedorgnp on Tue, 16 Sep 2014 8:18 +0000

ok guys, Been a while. Finally have done some more mods. I hope you like.
The first is I did the back seat mod. Then I put an ARB Twin Compressor in behind the back seat. Nice and low. Only problem is now the back bottom seat will not go all the way up.
Image

I then fitted it out with a few tools for easy access.

Image

Image
First Aid Kit and compressor gear.

Image
Image
On the other side I have a Stanley 156 piece tool kit that fits in behind perfectly.

Image
Then I did some mods to the back area. I made a box with a voltage meter and amp meter that ran off the second battery. I also put a multiple switch / circuit breaker board on there for all the outlets and lights that I was going to run off it.
It has a normal cig socket
2 usb outlets
1 Hella Socket

Image
Off that board I installed some narva Flood lights at the back. Mainly for pulling up at camp at night gives you plenty of light to see what you are doing.

Image
Then ran a small Led across the back window to really light up the cab.

Image
I also installed the outlet for the compressor in the back corner so if I am ever towing I can reach it easy enough.

Thanks trent, the 250s charger is the best. It charges the dual battery perfectly. I also have solar cells i plug in to it on trips where i am going to stay there a while.
With regard to the E lockers. I now would not have a 4wd with out them. I go out regulary with the 4wd club and it gets me up everything. You do heaps less damage to your car because you can go over obstacles slow as you dont need the momentum. Definately buy them if you have the coin. :D

Correct. Front and back. Makes a massive difference on the tracks. You wont realise how much till you get them.
