Sweet cheers Deadly, that's made me feel a bit better, didn't think vinyl could be repaired like that.

And yeahhh, I doubt my boss could even tell you what year it is yet, he was well on his way.

at my old work we used uticolor to fix the vinyl boat upholstery and they used to come up quite good. another alternative is get a local upholsterer to stich a patch over it. but you could put a big toyota symbol or something instead of an ugly square patch

Cheers Kizza - that's the same mob DB found, might give them a call and see what they say. Good to hear that it's helped someone on here before. Really don't want to go down the road of a patch if I can help it

Bought a new lightbar off eBay, $100. I don't do crazy night driving so don't feel the need to spend $500+ on a top notch light bar. Though, i'm quite impressed with how bright the thing is!

It's a 23" 144w Ellip Beam, stoked as with it.

Need before and after shots at night still, will post those up later.

Thinking of selling the original 09 SR5 wheels with tyres (prob 70 - 75% tread) and old leaf springs.
What could I get for them? I'm assuming the leafs would be a bit harder to get rid of.

I gave my originals away, only got cash for the lot because I was selling the spacer kit with them. Not sure on the tyres.

Cheers

Jaybags,
Does your tyre/rim combo scrub at all under compression/full lock?
I'm looking at same set up. (I've got standard 2"lift)
Cheers

The passenger side has scrubbed on occasion with full compression and full lock left down. Think this is more due to not having the best wheel alignment though. Need to book in to get that sorted.

I did have to take off the front mud flaps though.

Hey bud, killer build. Just curious as to your thoughts on the 4terrain clutch? I'm just about due and I'm trying to gauge which one will best suit me. Cheers

Hey buddy! Long time no see. Your build has come a long way  good stuff!

Bradles, I've got a 4-Terrain clutch in mine. They're pretty good. I think the only level up from that is an NPC kit but you're talkin $$$ there.

BRC clutch is good, and not as expensive as the NPC

I'm running 500Nm through mine with no issue

I love the 4terrain, highly recommend it. Haven't driven any other clutches so can't give a comparison, but it's never let me down, handles all the extra torque and it's a lot more sensitive - bit like the WRX clutch, as soon as you start letting it out, it wants to go. Just not as heavy.

Ha, it's def come a long way since Newvember that time! The side steps don't buckle any more.
Still so much I want to do, just have it on hold at the moment while priorities take place. I'll start continuing it all soon... Winch and dual battery are next on the list I think.

Thanks for the info fellas! Much appreciated. As long as the clutch I put in is fine for a daily driver I'm happy. Not interested in chasing power at this stage and I've regeared the diffs now so I can't see any need to go for the NPC.
