Sound advice !!

If you can't afford it, wait until you can. Otherwise you could be bandaiding problems for a long time.

Yeah mate I'm not one to be inpatient and go cheap if i'm paying I don't mind paying more for quality otherwise i would of saved $20 grand and bought a great wall :?

You won't be disapointed. ;)

Hey mate nice rig!
Youll love the buds bar if you ever get it, took me 3-4 months to get mine after a few bullshit excuses, and it was built differently to how i wanted and damaged in freight, but thats another story.
Any chance you could take a few photos of how those light bar clamps sit on the tube? Also, what size clamps did you get?
I have a set of 2.5" ones but i think ive been sent the wrong size, as they dont mount properly!

Cheers

Also fitted a Ram mount for my Tablet so I can use it for HEMA maps it seems pretty sturdy this weekend at Rover will be the test. ;)

How did you find the ram mount did it bounce around a fair bit or was it fairly sturdy.

Yeah mate mines coming up to 4 months not real impressed but at least It will be different to everything else and good quality (fingers crossed). With the clamp they sent me the wrong size at first get your self some verniers my head board is 2.75. There easy knocked but if you put some rubber or tape in between the clamp and the tube it will hold a lot tighter.

It's not as bad as i thought it would be, I much rather it there then up on the windscreen and i just pop off the base when we are not using it and its just a pole and doesn't get in the way, the RAM products seem to be really well made and there are so many options.

Thanks heaps for that mate!
I requested a 2.5" main hoop on my bar to suit my 2.5" clamps i already purchased. But the tube he used was 3-4mm smaller so the clamps didn't fit and i had to get them machined. Main reason i wanted a photo as i wasnt sure whether there was meant to be such a big gap between tube and clamp.

So my original lights filled up with water and and the HID's caught fire and burnt the inside of one of the lenses so I got these from one of my suppliers and I think there alright wasn't a fan at first but after I re-wired them with a simple diode they actually put out a decent little bit of light I have ordered new Narva 120+ globes so should be quite impressive after that I'd say.

Yeah I'm going to do something about, more then likely I'll spray it black rather then hacking it, I haven't had much of a chance to look into it yet.
