It's probably a bit of overkill being 8mm , but f$@#&% it better than finding out the hi lift has gotten out and walked 15km back ;) aiming to mount some maxx traxs under the bottom side of the tray too. I figure if i'm bogged that bad that i can't get to them then the bastards won't help anyway ;) Also thinking of getting one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111759642000 ... EBIDX%3AIT
Anyone tried one? figure if i crc the crap out of the jack then put the dinga on it , it might mean it still works when needed

Made this for the handle end to take the vibration and bounce out of it. Just copied the other end and used that retaining bracket from the top and replaced it with a heavy flat washer.

Gotta love international SIG packagesImage

And take note. THIS is how you package thingsImage
That has now found its way to my back window[emoji41]

The point of all this is , thisImageImage

Started when I made my sliders by knocking up these bracketsImageImage

They sit hereImage

I set a 12 mm nutsurt in the hole in the chassisImage
I wanted them removable (just in case) and didn't want to weld them to the chassis. The hardest part was getting the angle right to clear the sway bar. Also you want them fairly vertical, so they need to go as close as possible to the strut tower. There's a fair bit of thread on the clevis bolt , so there's a lot of adjustment in them to suit your requirements. I set mine at about 65/70mm of droop. As I'm still in need of either extended ball joints or after market uca's. After some input from people that have tried the 25/35mm extended ball joints and also anyone that has the DMS coilovers, what uca's work and what still hit the coils?

Hey Oggy

Digging up ya old post....

I have a MY07 with steel toyota bar wanting to get some fender flares but they all seem to stop at the fender seam and leave a space between where the infill/bumper plastic meets the bar

I see in your photos you have a plastic peice between, can you give me any info on this ?

cheers

Check with your local dealer dude. There's 2 types available. One is pre facelift and one is post facelift like mine.

If i remember correctly  I think you have to buy the entire headlight in fill(from Toyota) to get the little flarelets...I also bought the little flare bits for the bullbar too.
