Well I finished off my roof console today I borrowed inspiration of another member as I needed more switch locations and I couldn't find any commercial options with that so I made my own got the 10mm MDF from work free (The perks of working in the furniture industry) also used all their machines to get the shapes I was after, bought a peice of 25x3mm steel for the brackets ($12), then got some 6mm dense foam and covered it all in that (also free) then got the upholster at work to cover it for me with felt that is only slightly darker than the roof lining ($21.20 with free labor) covered the internal storage with left over marine carpet from rear storage area then bought some elastic and weed matting for the side nets ($12).
The switches where the expensive item (6 x $28 + mounting $10).
Couple of ten way connectors for easy removal (<$5)
The hardest part was working out how to get the earth down there for the dome light to come on with on ended up just getting a length of wire with ring terminals each end and screwed one side in with the console and then had to get the other one past the LED panel to get screwed on with the dome light (get the wire past it before plugging in the dome light power, blew a fuse as it slipped and arked out )

I have a hole back there ready for my digital boost and egt gauge just need the cut the felt to fit when I get it.






Now also have replaced all globes inside with LED



The main reason for it was I wanted my winch controls near my knee so I had to move the light controls else where, so now recovery aids near my knee, driving controls in roof console and camping controls in the center so I can get to them from either side of the car.



Got the Head Unit switch custom made as I couldn't find one anywhere also now the radio is powered from axillary battery, the on-off-on switch one way turns it on and off like normal the other way is permanently on for camping .

Where did you get the custom made switches?

Air On Board can do the laser etching to whatever you want I just supplied them with the image (converted an image of the radio to wireframe and cleaned it up) and what I wanted the text to be they had them sent out the following day. Brilliant service.

I just ran two 7 core trailer wires, needed all but 1 wire, tried looking for anything over 7 core but only found one with 12 so still would've needed two lengths.

Well got my stage 2 Rekon installed with EFS comfort leafs went up 55mm all round, when I fit 33's I will lift the front more its still about 30mm nose down.
Was going to do it myself but time started playing a problem needed it done by Easter and had some family issues anyway all done the only major issue is the wheel weights hitting the swaybar on full lock I'm going in after work Tuesday to get the stick on weights instead and wheel alignment with as much castor as possible.
The other issue is the shudder when taking off I've read a 1 degree wedge should help if I don't do this for a few weeks including 4wd'ing will this cause any problems?

The correct degree wedge will be determined by your diff angle after everything is in.

Some might need 1 Degree others will need 3.

Also check your angles at your center bearing and each shaft, not only your transfer case and diff.

How easy was it to remove your grille and install the winch?
Also did you have to rotate the clutch end or left as is?
You say you needed 10mm longer bolts. Why? And I'm presuming the offset hawse was extra.

Grille was very easy to remove the only issue I had is my UHF antenna wire runs through it so I couldn't completely remove it just had to balance it.
Rotated the clutch 90 degrees I have instructions if needed but fairly straight forward.
They supply bolts to go through the bar into the winch and also nuts and bolts to go through the fairlead into the bar because the offset fairlead gets mounted with the bolts that go into the winch they need to be the width of the fairlead extra (I ended up getting them 50mm longer and made up some 40mm spacers otherwise the fairlead sits to far into the bar for my liking)
The offset one was $50 from memory.

Yep can confirm offset hawse is a fitty. Ordered mine from WOLF and fitted up last break.
