Old coach rd one tuff track

How was the old coach road ? Was there still much water around on the crossings ?
Last time I went through there( last season ) it was a dust bowl.... Some good rough, slow crawling on that track though

Was dusty but still a little bit of water witch was good...
Was a good tuff track, but wish I had someone with me was challenging by my self.
I jam it in in one day.

Hey bid sorry for the late reply.... A bit slack !

We drove from cairns, then camped the night at a wide shallow river crossing at the Maytown end of the track (prob Palmer river, but can't recall exactly), then knocked over the track through to Laura and the drive home to cairns. Pretty big haul in a day though including the run home !

Was a good track though that's for sure!

How was your recent cape trip ? Love it or what ! ?

Yeah I recon the cape isn't a trip that u only do once that's for sure!!

We did the coach road with three vehicles, a bog stock keep wrangler, an early 2000 model lux and me with my hilux. It was a great track, I'll prob give it another crack some time this yeah too before it gets too hot.

When u went did u go lone ranger style with just u and the misses or did u have other vehicles with u ?

Yep it's a cracka of a track, my mrs wouldn't have been impressed doin it as a single vehicle !!

You did well on your own, I recon aside from the water crossings, the coach road was much tougher than anything up the cape when I last went through...
