No drilling was required, you simply connect one end to the bonnet hinge bolt and the other end has a metal bracket with the kit that lines up with factory holes:

what brand is the rear sub beind the seat?
and how is the angle of your lights? i had the same ones on my rwd dual cab but am worried that it will shine into peoples eyes on my 07 dual cab 4x4. monster rides supplies the "depo angel eyes" which you can adjust the angle of the beam but i prefer the ebay ones with the LED strip like yours.

Haven't had any problems with the angle of the lights - so far I have been pretty impressed with them.

Fitted my ARB low profile roof rack legs at the weekend. This involved drilling through the roof which was pretty scary but thankfully I got everything lined up perfectly and sealed everything with industrial windscreen sealer so no leaks!

Love Toyotas efforts at sound deadening!

Whilst I had the ceiling liner down I started sound proofing the cab for my stereo install next month.

First piece up...

These are the ARB roof rack legs:

and the underside:

As you can see they are pretty dam low...

My sister turned up at my work the other day with my old truck that I sold to her. First time I've seen my old one and my new one sat together:

Work on fabbing the rack I have designed should start later this week. The rack will hold 2 x 13" LED bars at the back and a reverse camera pointing into the bed. At the front it will hold a 40" LED light bar.

Putting the fender flares on this week. Then down to Devon (area in the UK) to visit Devon4x4 who will be revalving my King shocks and fitting lighter springs. The springs I have now are 600lb but I have bought some 450's. At the same time work will start on the roof rack. In amongst all this I'm going to carbon wrap the wing mirrors - I accidentally peeled a load of the black paint off them the other day - it really didn't stick well to the chrome finish. Also carbon wrapping the side steps - well not the tubes or the chequer plate but everything else. Then it's on to a hand made exhaust which will remove the cat.

Flares on finally! I used spiked bolts that I bought from a Harley Davidson modding company in The States. Probably just a matter of days till the police pull me over and have a moan about them!

I'm off to Deveon 4X4 to have all my King shocks revalved and some lighter springs fitted next Monday morning. Then it's off to have a straight through handmade exhaust system with a cat replacement pipe. Then the roof rack, then the stereo then the bonkers wiring mission - light bars x 3, those grill mounted HID lights, side courtesy lights, rear bed lights, revesre camera, winch, front fogs, accent lights behind the ASFIR logos on the front bumper, reverse lights, number plate lights and wing mirror indicators.
The final bits will be the remapped Steinbauer tuning box and the Steinbauer power pedal.

As I'm having the suspension set up properly I thought I'd better chuck the bed liner that I made (ages ago) in so things can be set up to a more accurate running weight. It's covered in dust and it's missing the flush fit lights and the Deckmaster rubber flooring but I love the way you can see the matt black chequer plate peaking out the top....

Wow! Not sure what else to say. Amazing work all around. I was surprised to see that your old truck was looking so stock as you are obviously quite passionate about your mods! You fabbing of the bumper was very impressive as well.

What kind of fender flares are those, where'd you buy them, and how much were they? They are pretty awesome and seem to stick out exactly how much you needed. Spiked bolts are a very nice touch too! Do the spikes just fit onto the bolt heads?

Awesome looking truck mate!

When you light up the ASFIR logo, are you going to paint all the bottom section black also?

The flares came from Ebay Thailand and the spikes are actually threaded bolts that I ordered from a guy in the US who makes bits for Harley motocycles.
