during my 90k service they found rear pinion had collapsed, so rather than just fix / replace the 3.7's I regeared to 4.1.

after I got back from 1KD Performance, and with all the city driving I've been doing, I decided it was time to upgrade from the Yukon Grizzly to something better suited.
now as I'd had the autolocker in there for a bit, I really didnt want to go back to open diffs. So I settled on the Detroit TruTrac.

I've been very happy with the onroad feel, and impressed with the way it works offroad, but did notice the lack of locked traction offroad. So, I thought I'd add an elocker up front. there was a bit of stuff around with wrong parts being delivered, but mostly sorted now (the shop has been working overtime to sort it!)

And just to finish it all off, I've just ordered a fmic (intercooler) from 1KD

How does your truetrac respond to lifted wheels ? Are you able to lock it up a bit by play with the handbrake?
I think the truetrac is a great unit but not to sure what happens with one rear wheel of the ground , wich happens alot in our lux's

I cant say I have specifically tested that scenario, but on my recent Vic High Country trip, I had no issues.

I certainly noticed the difference from the Grizzly, but even so, at no time did I have to use right foot to get over obstacles (and for most of the trip I totally forgot the "handbrake yank" trick).

and I made an impulse buy on an intercooler from 1KD Performance. so I'm in the middle of installing that now

one that's all done, I need to sort out some new tyres before hitting up the High Country again in early June!

Nice!!
Is that Ally pipe or stainless?

it's alloy pipe. pretty sure stainless would push the cost much higher

Do you need to remove the pipe to open the air box lid?

so, I had my 100k service last week (June 3rd 2015!)
had the ball joints replaced on my Ultimate UCA's (only about 40k old)

and bought new tyres, Nitto Trail Grappler in 295/70/17!!

Keen to hear what you think of the Nittos. Haven't read a bad report yet. Pretty sure these will be going on mine when the current tyres wear out.

really quiet on the highway, really grippy in all conditions, cheaper than my previous tyres (Cooper ST Maxx).

now I just have to put some miles on them

so after an easy drive up behind Lithgow / Zig Zag, I noticed a small issue...

thankfully it didn't happen on the highway, but it was an expensive ride home.
on the plus side, Ultimate have really gone the extra mile to get it sorted out!
