Zed's shed!!

So, I bought a dual cab SR5 Easter 2011.

I've done about 16 thousand km's in the last 12 months, mostly on dive trips, and now its time to start making the Lux just a little bit better!

Not sure where I'll end up, but the general idea is more "tourer" than "offroad weapon".

fyi, I used to be known as Zed, hence the thread title

Also started my exhaust today. Unfortunately I started at the easy end.

undoing the pipe from the turbo is proving problematic

initial spray with WD40 didn't really have much effect, so I bought a tin of Pentr8.

Used this liberally, waited about half hour and then I was able to crack it using the socket set with a universal joint.

worked over 60 hours this week, so I left work early today (only 10 hours). Got drivers side seat cover on. Bloody difficult!

easiest way was to actually undo the floor bolts so i could tip the chair on its back and then work on it

I'm a bit disappointed in the stitching quality; gonna call them Monday to ask for a replacement of the passenger side

finally got my HID's fitted. love the light output, BUT getting flashed by oncoming traffic is getting old

I'm going to try blacking out the top half inch of the headlight to minimise stray light
