So as you can see in the above photo, my new rims arrived so popped down to the tyre shop and got some cooper st maxx fitted. :)
So far pretty happy, very little if any road noise.

The wheels are ballistic havoc 16x8 -6offset. They just poke out the side so I will have to adjust the location of the back mudflaps to keep it looking legal and I had to remove the front flaps as it was slightly rubbing.

Another recent addition to the dash is a scangauge and an EGT gauge with the sensor in the manifold.

Tyres are 265/75R16.

Hey Matty,

Geez your your truck has come up nice mate. Really nice package you have put together and easily one of the toughest looking tourers I've seen.

I actually think your truck is more of a expedition style truck to be honest... too tough to be a tourer!

Compliments to your trimmer... Your canopy has changed my mind on canvas canopies.

What next for the build Mate?

Cheers
Matt

Thanks Matty,
It has turned out almost exactly how I had visioned it. Next up are some buds sliders/protection and the diff drop kit.

I'm planning on moving out and living out of the lux and touring around the WA coast for a couple of months.
Good times to come.

Lucky bastard... very envious.
Will you head south or north first?
I'd love to do a WA coast trip... one day!

You taking the Mrs?

When are you thinking of leaving?

Sorry for the 50 questions :?

Il be heading off on my own, it's not working out for us Atm.

Il head north first. I can leave my car at work for the 2 weeks and travel from there on my week off. So I think coral bay and exmouth will be a spot for me to frequent.
I still will be working, just instead of flying back to perth il drive from site.
So I can get 3 weeks of touring northern WA done in 2 months.

Hey Mate,
I know exactly what your talking about. However yes you can still remove the fuse box cover. I can't remember exactly how, but I recall having to squeeze it a certain way to get the clip near the aux battery to clear the tag that holds it.
You just have to hold your tounge precisely the right way :)

Hey Mate,

Your truck looks sweet, just wondering how you attached the roof racks to the canopy? Did you have to put holes in canvas?

Cheers
Mat
