Tray is gone and the new tub is on. Spent all weekend putting it together. Couldn't find a black one so got a gun metal grey for a bargain. I'll paint it sometime. Looks half decent in 2 colours. Also painted the chassis looks schmick.

Oh right. There's heaps of tailgates for sale on eBay. Not many tubs though. I was lucky scored the tub for $250

I forgot to get my mechanic today to put the cable on for the fuel door. Anyone know how hard it would be to do it myself. And does anyone have a spare I could have?

Re: julz's 06 extracab. HELP!! Electrical problems

Postby 06lux on Sat, 05 Apr 2014 6:41 +0000

Can anyone help me here. It started Thursday with just my head unit turning itself on and off and rebooting itself. But as of yesterday Arvo I'd start the car and it would switch itself of turn it back on and it's sweet but the lights would flicker and head unit would reboot again. Turning it of to accessories would completely shut down the whole car. ie, lights off radio off dash off cabin light off with door open. It has never done this before and I have not touched any of the wireing ever. Anyone have an idea?
The battery is less than a year old

Na just the single battery. The battery is fine. It kicks over normally. It starts fine too that's why I'm confused. When it's running it al works like normal only on startup and shutdown these things happen

Ok, mine did something similar to this, though only the lights behind the speedo from what I could see, I have my ctek mounted on the top of my fuse box and found that one of the m4 bolts holding it down was rubbing the top of the dcc fuse (causing arcing between the 2 pins of the fuse), this 30a green supplies power to the fuses for the ecu-b 10a, dome 7.5a fuse and the rad 15a audio system, all this info is on page 308 of the manual, I replaced the metal bolt with a nylon m4 bolt and issue is gone. Maybe this will help you
