Yeah it's terrible.
My mate bought a red dual cab TD lux. (The one in the strad pics) I was driving that all weekend. It has a 3 inch taipan exhaust and power chip. I loved the way it drove and the torque it made was awesome. Was so much easier to drive loaded up.

Been having brake troubles the last 2 weeks and on Tuesday Arvo they were so bad I nearly couldn't stop so she's at the mechanics at the moment getting some new stoppers put on. Ontop of that abs stopped working too.
Starting to fix her up getting ready to sell. Booking the lux in for panel repairs and a touch up then the full service

So got a report back today. There was more water in the brake line then there was fluid. Not sure why because I havnt done any water crossings. They still havnt figure out why abs isn't engaging. They got it working but barely.

Im no mechanic but water in the brake lines should still work the way i understand it. Since you cant compress a fluid.

Did they get the brakes (other then abs) working properly tho?

Also did you figure out that shutter?

Your guess is as good as mine. There was still pressure but minimal. Yeah but because they have been like this for 2 weeks it's polished the disc so the have to machine it or something.

Got off lucky. New abs unit is upwards of $3000 Everything seems to be working great. Stops awesome and abs now works. Happy days

what kind of research? I didn't think that people on their P's in QLD were allowed to drive v8's even if they are under 200kw

Will have to do with the Power to Weight ratio. Can apply for an exemption although a quick search on the Dept Transport website shows the new V8 Cruiser is already approved.
