Hey Everyone my names Chris i'm 19, From Southside of brissie. I recently had the option of buying my old mans 2007 Silver Dual cab sr5 off him for a ridiculousy small amount as he was trading it in on a newer one. I matched what the dealer offered him and bought it off him. First thing i did was take it to the diesel shop at browns plains to have a new set of injectors fitted as the old one's were gone. just so anyone knows out there with the same problems i purchased the injectors for 395 each from a guy in sydney for new genuine denso injectors and had them fitted for 750 and that include the coding etc and new gaskets etc. Next i put a set of strut spacers in, I know the problems they can cause so please do not comment on them. When i can afford a full lift i will get one, these are more or less just for now. (bump stops been modified to suit also. Next i had the rollbar powdercoated black, sprayed the wheels black, removed the steps as the hang so low and scored a set of secondhand 32x11.5 ProComp M/t's off ebay and had them fitted. Pretty much this is how its sitting at the moment. I also made a set of sliders up last weekend there are more or less just sill protector/sliders and are now getting powdercoated and i should have them back tomorrow.

Another member off here added me and invited me to the Scenic Rim day in a few weeks so i may meet some of you there.

Also the ute already had a Ironman style bar, Spotties, GME uhf and a few other things fitted by my dad.

Cheers for all the comments, I was planning on going an rb26 in the vu. Yeah i had a fibreglass mould of an xr bonnet bulge made up and moulded it in and painted it myself. I did all the air suspension intall myself too, was a pretty sick ute to own but having to worry bout the cops 24/7 kinda got old after a while. I'll post up pics of the sliders when done, they are okay not the best but i'm a chippie by trade so they were my best attempt haha. Cheers for the invite to scenic dan, I cant wait!

Cheers man, Currently i have the lux and a hj kingswood as a cruiser but its just ran outta rego.. Pretty mint tho flat gold with pinstripes white walls etc. haha. Yeah i was pulled over several times in it and somehow they never did me for the bags, even with the array of gauges and stuff

I know how that feels. I only just got off my p's a few months ago and it feels so much better to be able to have a few with mates and not having to worry about needing to be 0.000 the next day
