Bit of an update...

Got the tray back from the painters a month or so ago, painted the same code as the car and came up pretty sweet..

Replaced the UHF aerial I had with a gme one as the snapped of at the base of the whip going up a mates driveway..

Finally got my hands on my Arb gear and just quietly never again will I fit it myself, will pay someone else with no hesitation.. Fog lights don't fit properly for starters, I'll have to squash the outside brackets in so the will actually hold the lights from falling out forwards. Then the scrub bars, what a f'n mission they are, broke a bolt had to chop some off the end near the bullbar to fit on, scratched my new bar and I'm pretty happy at the moment :?

I'll worry about it another day when I feel the motivation

Heres some pictures

Hey mate hows the exedy clutch going that you put in?? My 4terrain one (thats only a year old) is starting to slip so im not happy but ill be replacing it with an exedy one just not sure which one.

Did you get the HD one with the single mass flywheel or just the HD clutch itself?

Cheers

As far as I'm aware it's just the hd clutch itself (work ordered it) it doesn't feel as heavy as some other hd clutches or as heavy as id like but mechanic at work reckons that'll take time to bed in ?? this is comparing to my work cruiser....

Other then that Mate I haven't had any dramas with it no shudder or anything like that an I'm pretty happy with it for what it's worth...

Re: BAT091 LUX - Has Shat Itself

Left home at 6 this morning with the cattle trailer on heading to kentucky... got an hour away from home and really noticed the big girl guzzling the fuel, then the injectors knocking once under load e.g a crest or slight hill, then a complete flat spot when accelarating, then the injectors knocking like crazy at a constant rate, a loss of accelaration and a hilux shaking like a dog shittting razor blades whilst bellowing out white smoke... was only running on 2 cylinders i swear... 100 Bux for a tilt tray home and we restarted the journey 3 hours behind schedule in my work cruiser, now ive been lookin at cruisers for sale all arvo :? :? :? will have to see what happens lol spoke to my boss this morning and he reckons he has been sourcing injectors from sydney for about 500 bux a pop and we now have the scan tool to code them to the ecu, works a treat for me because i can now do it myself and save $$$.. will keep up to date about future plans and what happens to the lux truck

Shit mate, that doesn't sound good :( you've got me feeling nervous now, I was towing the cattle trailer yesterday aswell and drank an enormous amount of diesel, lot more then normal when I'm towing it :( Hope it doesn't go bang!
