Yeh, it is quicker to downsize before uploadingas you have smaller files to upload. I use Irfanview which has a batch processing option. Google it, It's Freeware!

Not yet am thinking about geting standard length braded lines in the front as the length is more than enough. I asked bout the rear and have been told it is fine at its standard length. At full drop it is tight but ok so am thinking about geting a longer one there

yeh just unbolted me front and went and drove some mond and it seemed fine, but yeh havn't touched the back yet, it will only have a 2 inch in the back, and a few ppl have told me it'll be fine just unbolted so yeh donno yet, have to wait and see how i go. How long did it take ya to wind ur strut back down to 3 inch after setting them at standard? installed my fronts on sunday and it took in about 30 mins a side to whind the bastards back to stock height hahaha

Yeh it takes some effort to wind the bloody things lol i put a long shifter on the lil spanner and i still have to force it. Im going from 60mm back to 53mm and its still a mission lol lots of crc

So the spacers are in and its all back together.
The shocks are now wound back to 40mm from the 60mm i had it set at but with the 35mm spacer it is like having it set at 75mm which is 15mm higher than i had it but without preloading the shocks too much.
So now il see how the cv's go but all looks good so far. With the 1" drop kit i still have 360mm of ground clearance at the front, from the top edge of the 16" rim to the bottom of my flare is 365mm on the front and 420mm on the rear.
I didnt measure it standard so il have to go to the dealers and measure a stock one... of if you have a stock truck maybe you could measure it and let me know hehehe.

Drew,

Just went and done a comparison check with how you measured yours and I ended up with 345mm on the front and 400mm on the rear, so with your 1" diff drop on the front which would really be about .5" in practical terms
your front end is as high as Id be game to push it.

Looks great, good height factor too hope nothing goes wrong with ur cv's tho haha. Hey one thing did u flip ur shock round the wrong way with the gas inlet facing the inside on purpose? Or just don't think it matters?

That eases my mind about the cv's a bit maxx knowing we are basicaly the same. I definatly wont be going anyhigher.
No flex shots as yeh ktm but will go out and take some shortly only dont corrigations, mud and sand so far i need to get out into some rutted country. or just find a big rock in someones garden lol

Yeh i did flip it arround on purpose i had to to get the studs in the spacer to line up with the holes in the plate and still allow the shock to tilt inline with the axle. Didnt think it would matter having the valve on the inside, if it ever needs re gasing the shock will be pulled out anyway.

Drew,

before you go hard offroad, when doing a flex test, check the bumpstop position - what I mean is, when the front end is fully compressed, see how much room you have left till the bump stop bottoms out on the control arm and fit a spacer if not too big, otherwise, you may have to get a Kartek Bumpstop from Brett and cut it to size to suit.

I wouldnt mind going another 20mm up on the front end just to level the hilux abit....thou I WILL need to fit a 1" drop diff kit like you as this would be pushing the limits. That, and Id have to re-fab my front bashplate to suit......

If yo do extend them, see if you can find a good brake specalist up there who can make DOT approved lines. Should be able to do this for half the cost of the Snake racing stuff. I have had them made for under $30 in Brissy on my last rig.
