Hey mate lights only hits the roof and not the bonnet, get some reflection of the roof but not noticeable when your driving, still puts out a good spread of light.

Update:
Scored myself a set of 4 90 series prado rims of flea bay for $200!
They are an extremely tight fit, 1mm clearance between the rim and brake calipers!! Any clearance is good enough, these prado's rims are alot thicker and stronger than my current sunnys, and would have to take a pounding if it were to get any closer to the calipers. Can any one confirm if putting some 1 or 2mm thick washers over the studs to give it that little bit more clearance just to put my mind at ease, or will it be ok as it is??
Plans are to get them sand blasted and paint them satin black or will just get them powdercoated. Will most likely go with the 265/75 r16 in bfg km2's.

The all terrains dont do it any justice
Will post up the finished product as soon they are done ;)

Really need to get rid of those side steps

DO NOT space out rims by fitting washers to the studs. A lot of the locating strength isn't in the studs but in the friction between the rim and hub. Fitting washers greatly reduces the contact area and will probably lead to brocken studs. Also it's illegal.
Another options, also illegal in SOME states, but safer is to fit professionally made rim spacers.

If there is clearance on the rims though, why not just run them as they are.

dans hilux wrote:After driving around with a 2 inch front lift and stock rear for few weeks on end, finally gave in and decided to get the rears done!! Opted for the factory reset and another leaf added which brought the rears up 40mm. Rides alot better now with a nice firm feel and handles like its on rails!! Advice to others thinking of just getting the front lifted and not the rears, DONT DO IT!!
Also had some 'depo' angel eyes fitted to the lux, only issue is that the front bar had to be removed to be installed. Happy with the outcome though, thanks Matty from monster rides, have passed on your number to a few people enquiring about the head lights.

Urgently needs a snorkel, not complete without one, been given the run around with ARB hoppers crossing so will look for some where else to get them done!!

Can I ask why you say DON'T raise just the front. I was going to lift the front to level it out after I get my bullbar and other bits put on. I don't carry weight or tow very much at all. So yeah

UPDATE:
Got the rims and rollbar powdercoated a few weeks ago, today had the chance to get the 32's fitted up on bfg km2's!
Lovin the look of the prado's and 32's!
Gone for good is the chrome rear bars and toyota sticker, unsure about the hilux badge on the rears as of yet? :?
Replaced the chrome spotties on roll bar for black ones.
Got a couple of quick pics for now:

Looking at getting exhaust done next before i head of to the deni utemusters.
Can get a redback 3'inch turbo back with high flow cats, flexi bellow and straight thru muffler $900 fitted.
Unsure about redback systems on a hilux d4d as cant find any reviews on here.

thanks mate.
Yeah keen to see how well powder coating the rims hold up. Did get them sand blasted and had a go painting one rim with the rattle can spray, didnt come up well for me as the paint chipped to easily with the scratch of a finger nail. Could just have been my dodgy work
Very happy with the finished powdercoat result, time will tell how the hold up...

Got the exhaust done today.
3 inch dump with flex pipe, high flow cats followed by a straight pipe with hotdog to eliminate any drone.
System is a redback exhaust and dump pipe did come with the welded bung.
Turbo spools up a lot quicker and gained more kick down low/mid range torque.
Sounds FRICKIN awesome, loud but not over the top loud :D :D

Got a video of the exhaust mate?

I've had redneck exhausts on cars in the past, seem to hold up well enough.
