Bit of an update... Not much been happening but the A-sure head unit is fitted up and couldn't be happier, worked a treat in Sydney tonight :) :) thanks charlie..

Ordered a 50l waeco through work so I should see that end of the week :)

The trip to Sydney was in aid of picking up a steel tray I bought for 160 bux off a s/c navara, plan is to replace headboard n shorten + mod to how I want.. Then make a camping trailer out of the tub to accommodate my bike up front etc.. Plenty of ideas just no time to put into action :( but now I have my work rig back my truck can sig about with no tub while I'm measuring n what not

Anyways here's some pics of the tray I snagged

Pulled me finger out today n wired up my turbo timer I've had sitting here since I bought the ute... you'll see I flipped that switch panel upside down n rotated the switches, removed the gauge light dimmer etc.. Bit of filing n mucking around but no where else tickled my fancy...

Image

Did a bit more of the tray n the headboard I now made up.. Made out of 50x75 rhs

Hopefully find some time this week to get it close to finished

Cheers mate yea I was pretty happy with it. In hindsight I could have built it from scratch but it hasn't turned out to bad.

Gave the tray a bit of a tidy up with a lick of paint today... Now to make a frame for the roof top tent to sit on, the tray itself is 1800 wide by 2100 long, sits flush with the end of the towball

Here's some pics... Let is know what ya think :)

Between xmas n new year i found some time to mount some narva work lights under the headboard, new chain for the big fella and an Anderson plug for the fridge..
Also made some temporarily permanent mud flaps and added a few pictures from Stockton beach on nye..
