No need for a basket Mark. Just get some 8mm high tensile chain , drag said log back to camp and cut the sucker up on site 8-) 8-) 8-)

Could be a fire hazard Oggy. With the chain on the express way, with the sparks. Could start a grass fire.

Thanks Mate, things on the lux have slowed down a little, never have the time to get things done on it like I used to. Still love it though

Just a quick update and a few pics :) Haven't really done much with the lux lately but hopefully get a fair bit done over the next month.

I did manage to bend my spindle as some people call it, arm that goes between the UCA and LCA, made the drivers side wheel sit with a massive camber, drove like shit. Anyway a quick trip down to just hilux wreckers for another and all was good again. While I had things apart I fitted some rekon dms struts. Only done about 4500kms with them, one trip up the high country and love the adjustable dampening offroad, gave the lux a thrashing and they just soak it up. Also grabbed some new black duck seat covers which I will put on tomorrow and scored a roof console off a good mate for a few cans of bundy....which I end up drinking

Few pics of work and play 8-)

Boys fitted my roof console securely with electrical tape while I was busy doing something else :D

Thanks guys, canopy does all I need it to, it's just a basic homemade job. Haven't hit my head on doors as yet, I've got them set to open reasonably high. Couple of old pics but kind of shows the height they open to

Yer, hasn't been a problem I guess, only use it to throw bags, pram or whatever we aren't using in there while pulled up at camp. Easier to pack up, zip up and stuff the sides back in at the lower height, back when I had it just on a rack above roof height it was an arse packing it up which is partly why I went the lower height. Each to there own though.

Looking good Mitch, if anyone is going to give those struts a work out its you.
The Teddy bear was a top effort, I doubt you just threw it together it looks like a lot of time and effort. He'll either grow up loving teddy bears of be terrified of them  Either way well done.
