If you can't get the price you want I would be taking off the items you could sell separate on the forum. Like sliders, winch they all will sell pretty quick on here. Even the lockers. Put it to stock and sell it or even trade it in

Yep, looking at your ad, I would remove the following.

long range tank,
sliders,
winch,
compressor,
water tanks,
toolbox,
spotties,
TJM bash plates,
head unit (fit $50 stereo from supercheap)
reverse camera.

All this gear could be removed in a day, working in your driveway and transferred to your new vehicle or sold.
Depending on what you intend getting next and how keen you are, could also swap the tyres to cheap H/T and get the diff locks removed.

Then drop the price to $20k
Unfortunately that's the issue with modifying vehicles, costs big $$$, but adds nothing to the final value.
I once sold a 3 year old lancer, that had over $12k of performance mods (parts only) for $11k. I nearly cried when it drove away, but it needed to be sold before I moved over seas

I had trouble selling mine for 30 with half those mods. Ended up keeping her. If you did choose to take apart and sell Id have 4 of the things listed above sold for you in 5 minutes.

Yep Ben,
If your committed to selling then take off all your easily removable fruit bullbar inc.....there are piles of standard bumpers at any ARB or TJM store in the bin......I'm sure you would find a buyer for every thing here.

I had my 09' upgrade SR5 with only 70k on the clock and all the ARB fruit on here for a while last year with no interest. Only wanted $35000 and not 1 bite. Ended up getting $30k trade-in. They put it in the yard for $40k but it sat there for mths. Last time I looked they had $36k and it went shortly after but not sure for what price. Was immaculate as well. It's always hard to sell for a nice amount privately when there has been a lot of money invested in aftermarket parts.

I was in the same boat as you Ben 6 months ago, Wasn't worth selling considering what i put into it, so i kept it and put more into it!!

Once the new model comes out i think they will really drop in value also.

I agree with others, take some of the fruit off it and see what you can get trade in.

Any luck finding a 105? Will be hard to find one with less than 250,000k's

After going through everything trying to sell my car I decided that I'm not going to get the price that I want for it so I am going to hold onto it for a few more years at least.

In saying that I came across an extra cab tub on gumtree for a steal and couldn't resist. The guy I got it from bought a brand new 2014 sr5 with a tub about a month ago and then replaced it with a tray straight away. So it's virtually brand new which is great.

Here are some before, during and after pics. I really love the new look.

Be interesting to see if you were to still advertise it now whether there's any interest. Also if it was me i would peel the hilux sticker off the windscreen. Not being offensive but it looks a bit bns frigger with it on and may deter some buyers?? As Matt and bags said ,tub looks heaps better 8-)

I already have a camera hooked up to my pioneer stero. Just need to work out how to mount it in the hole
