Yeh I towed my boat about 1000ks straight didnt have a problem, but. When I returned I noticed No idea had towed and had a problem loosing 5th gear. There was some talk on here then of 5th gear being such a small cog that it was not recommended for towing 4th gear was the better option. I think unless your on flat I would avoid using 5th. Check this out viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1775&hilit=5th+gear+towing

There are plenty of vans and camper trailers towed large distances, Rodw did a big trip with his van, not sure of the weight though.

Yeah I always tow in 4th regardless. Fuel efficiency doesn't concern me. Dropping 5th gear does. Just fitted Humex tonight, tomorrow I'll re fit steinbauer, then I'll be set.
We need a boat thread.

Anyone installed a autometer pyro in a 3 inch Humex exhaust? Need and adaptor for it and cannot find one for the probe.

I had same problem with the beaudesert exhaust. I took it to a exhaust shop for them to remove the bung on the dump pipe and weld on the one in the box that came with the pyro.
