Also. Thinking about upgrading suspension.
ARB quoted me about 2200 for OME min lift.
Any other suggestions?

Reckon gear may be a little out of my price range although id love SAX leaves.
What do you guys think about ultimate?

Id love the monster gear but comes down to cost and potentiall extras as well.

In regards to the topdek tray.. The old mans pictured has one, and hos cost well over 6k 3 years ago with not a huge amount of extras. Couple tie downs etc.
couldnt see the need for that

fair enough, i just got a top dek steel tray for my lux and it was 2.5 k just standard tray with removable rear posts, 6 k seems ridiculous

I know of a tray being priced for a twin cab landcruiser and it was 2800 for a 1.8 tray.
For what i paid i was reasonably happy with the quality for the price.

Cheers for the comments

Nice setup you have there.

Well done

Sorry to go a little off topic, but have you got some close up pics of the trailers with the 2 quads on them. I have two quads with similar sized trailers, but never thought about loading the 2 on the one trailer that way.

Cheers

Mick

cheers.

in regards to the trailers.. i dont have any close up pics of either sorry.
but all we used was scaffolding planks to span across the trailer with merbau (off cuts lol) as slip blocks nailed besides the tyres to strap down.

also a good idea would be to drill holes in both the planks and ramps to have a slip pin for safety measures.
you would want to make sure the trailer is fairly sturdily built as its a bit of pressure and weight,
both our trailers are custom made and built fairly heavy duty for work and such.

thanks

Well finally got some lift and suspension sorted!
Ended up going OME on trade price.
Standard lift in front. Ended up with 400kg constant in the rear!
Lift from old standard suspension ended up with about 80mm lift! Eeeeck.
Mustve sagged a shitload since I got it.
Anyway here's pics!

Nah 33s are probs not the best. 32s will be the next lot but can't really go bigger than that.
Really happy with the suspension even tho I haven't been offload, just round town and at work.
Comfortable and not to stiff even with constant 400kg rears.
Rea paperwork and arb lst they used 2884 prado springs?!
Overall I'm happy and will be keen to test out once back from o/s in 2 weeks

Went up bush a couple weekends ago. Bluff, Lovicks, King Billy, Zeka, Wonangatta, Riley's, Abbeyard, Cobbler.
Four cars. 2 luxs ans 2 roks.
Car performed flawlessly. Weather turned out to be grouse...although end result of a cooked amarok wasn't the best news. Managed to tow him out for 30kms. Expensive for him lol
Cars finally got some scratches on it not that it wanted them its not a toorak tractor now.

Also have installed a gen Toyota sat nav with a carbon audio reverse camera.
Very happy with it.

Next looking at getting an aluminium canopy. Unsure of dimensions etc at the moment
