went to arb this arvo and ordered my delux winch bar. should arrive mid january they recon
the custom tray im going to make is looking more like a reality. just got to wait till the old mans factory quiets down a bit so they can make it. and i should be making some sliders and stealing the uhf out of one of dads work vehicles over chrissy break

i took my sidesteps off today so i can measure up to make some sliders. gotta say im loving the clean look now.

yeah pretty much the same look. dad owns a steel factory so just going to use whatever he has up there to make them. save me a few dollers

nothing new to update just thought id share my future mods that ill be doing this year.

1. get rid of the range hood globes in the spotties that i stole from mums range hood and replace with some that are actually bright!
2. install the arb deluxe winch bull bar that should be coming next week
3. monster rides REKON 3" lift
4. make my rock sliders
5. get rid of the stupid tub and make my custom tray
6. go wheeling (someone wanna show me where to wheel in brizzy, just got my licence )

that should make my bank account empty

Where abouts in brisbane are you mate? I'm at Mt Gravatt. If you're anywhere close I know of a place just off mt gravatt-capalaba road that has some good stuff to learn on (i know this because im learning and that's where i go ). There are 2 pretty decent hill climbs there. 1 of them is easy enough, just all shaly rock stuff that's a bit slippery and it's pretty long. and the other is pretty gnarly. I think it's near physically impossible for my lux to get up there. A few of the boys off here would probably struggle haha (Putting a challenge out? )

Haha. Seriously though, if you ever half a day to kill for whatever reason (unlikely, nobody ever has half a day to kill), I want to go back and try it as I only went with my mate in his old stocko Surf. It's an all or nothing type deal coz if you get halfway there's very little chance of coming back down without damage. I'm not sure if I could do it with 2 inch lift and 32s, but 33's and a 3 inch lift might make it.

Anyway sorry for hijacking your thread Julz, hit me up when you're lux is ready if you ever wanna go up there

yeah mate im at chandler. close as to mt gravatt, im always heading over that way. half a day is pretty rare these days hey.. im more then dumb enough to try something like that. let me get my lux sorted and you can show me this hillclimb

finaly got my delux bar fitted today. looks reall good 2 mods down 1million more to go

got my arb delux winch bar fitted on wednesday. looks awesome. i think a 2 or 3" lift will be coming sooner than i thought. the bar sagged the standard front suspension by about 2cm.

heres the front. not much clearence now. tossing up between cal offroad 3" lift kit or monster rides stage 2 lift. at 3inches.



ohh yeah and when im driving i can hear a noticeable clicking sound. no clue what it is. thought it might of been my tyre had a rock in it but thats not the problem. any thoughts on what it might be?.

haha yeah thats true. maby 2" then. im ready for a wheel, i just want some lift then ill start wheeling the tracks you and others go on. at the moment im just wheeling the mountains in my mates property out west just to learn some basics

na i noticed the sounds about a week and a half before the bar went on. if its the cv what should i look for? i think it might be the left front making the clicking sound

you wont be able to see anything probly...youll just have to jack it up and turn the wheel but hand and listen for it
