Personally I would have been looking at adding the 255/85/16 tyres to your prado alloys and using that combo as your wheeling set.

From all I have read on the forum this combo ET+15 works really well on the hilux.

anyway will be good to see the truck on the black sunnies

I was thinking that but I want to keep the prado rims as my road set as they are an alloy and use a steel rim for offroading

my brand new black infinity rims 15x8 with 0 offset just arrived. They look amazing. Thanks to mmaaxx, Matt and Monster Rides. That was really fast delivery considering that I only ordered them on Saturday. Now for the rubber 32x11.5R15

strange thing. my car has been in at the workshop all day and they just called me back saying that the water pump isn't leaking.... :?: weird, considering a few weeks ago when I had a service done, they recomended it be replaced asap :?: . But they are two different places. I shall need to keep an eye on it myself then

yeah but they wanted to actually visually see it leaking which i dont understand as there is quite a reasonable amount of pink stains all around the pump.

its a very exciting day for me. Im investing in my first set of mud tyres. i ordered them on tuesday and they are in the shop ready for me to put on the car straight away. I bought some brand new infinity 15x8 black steel rims on saturday and im putting maxxis bighorns on them today after i finish uni. 32x11.5R15. the reason i went with the 15s were that they would bag more at lower pressures, offer a nicer ride and I wanted them for the 11.5inch width. I went maxxis because they are a very capable and under rated tyre and came second in the 4wd action comparo. They were also a great price. now i will be ready for the weekend

Well done mate. Good choice on the Bighorns they are a great tyre. I suppose you'll be out there flinging some mud this weekend. 8-)
