Well done bud, looks the goods! Yeah I can see the need for a tack system to gain storage room..... Now waiting to see what you come up with next!

Been quiet on the build of late due to lake of funds. Had a slow leak yesterday so got my man at the tyre shop to take a look, turns out the 2nd hand 33s i got a starting to de-laminate. Look like some other mods will have to wait now till I get some new rubber.

Well my mate owns a Hankook store so I'll probably end up with some dynapro mts. I can get them for 250 a corner so I just have to decide if I stay with 285 or go to 33x11.5.

Yeah they'll both fit. They only thing I'm still yet to trim back is the body mount then everything will be sweet.

Pissing down rain all day and with utterly stuffed tyres I can't go and play so in the shed she went. New rear shoes, drums and all adjusted up. I have a handbrake again yippee!

So I'm torn! 285/75r16, 305/70r16 or 295/75r16? Anyone care to sway me?

I would go the 285/75/16 purely because it's a more common size and easier to get new tyres in that size especially if traveling in remote places, maybe easier to get out of trouble with a common size? that would be my personal preference anyways( if I were to run with a 33" or equivalent that is)

Well turns out hankook only do the 285 anyway so 285 it is.

One decent bog hole the other day(mostly water not deep mud) and what do ya know one starter full of water and corrosion setting in. So out it came again to file back the terminals and plunger in the solenoid. Only happens with muddy water mind you cos I can do all the river crossings I want and it's fine. Bloody diff seal is weeping again now too, flaming mud!!
