Novice correction - work from the edge of each ripple fold and push out
Preventable with correct stretching technique and an extra pair of hands

Tip for removing side indicator - use a pry bar or other such tool to reach around pillar and release retaining clip

If I was too do again I would remove the snorkel - too much time taken measuring and fitting and rubbish finish leaving it on.
Got away with doing the panel in 2 pieces. Snorkel nearly meets the top of flare. Just had to cut a 3mm strip in

Measuring and fitting top panel sheet to slide back - waste of time in hindsight

Top effort mate. How durable are these wraps?

Thanks guys.
Time will tell how durable it is.
It takes some decent bush pins stripes but not direct stone or large branch strikes.
Plan is to remove it in 3 years and see if I can be bothered to replace it with a tougher wrap.
Avery Dennison do a wrap that lasts 10 years - the technology of vinyl seems to be advancing well

An experienced vinyl applicator would cringe at the wrinkles here.
I tried to minimise the amount of exposed sheet by working with a bit at a time.
I have since learnt the method of "triangles" where the whole sheet is peeled - centre portion only is adhered then divide the sheet in four by pulling and stretching each corner tight to remove wrinkles before adhering the rest down.

Trimmed the edge to 1-2mm overlap of rubber seals using the chisler as a spacer

Then just tucked the overlap behind the seal

Hey DB I'm guessing you have done your bonnet? How wide are the sheets of vinyl? The roll I have seen are only 1500 wide, is that wide enough to cover the bonnet? ( if I was not 1500kms away from
Home I would simply measure my bonnet) am contemplating this on my rig

Yeah mate - 1500mm does it in one drop

Image

The bonnet is very close to 1500mm at its widest near the hinges.
By the time you stretch it a little there is plenty of overlap

Another example of incorrect technique which took way too much time to correct

Correct technique here:

(Wish I had of seen this technique before I had finished  )
The vinyl used in that vid is Avery Supreme - very different to the one I used but how easy did that look
