Thanks, Mr Dog. :-) The mud was rather bright with the arvo sun shining on it.

And to DeeferDevil, that may be true. :D

...and you know how your butt clenches the seat, but there's ALWAYS time for your mates to take photos first.

Took safe option and towed out backwards. When I looked at the hole after, yep, probably could've driven out, but as a mate pointed out, I may have damaged the rear quarter as the rear dropped in. Don't want that after recently replacing the tray due to my last bout of dumbness.

ahh yes the old saggy bum to ruin the fun...no shame in taking the safe option dude, coz if you had done it and bent something you would be very ashamed

Yeah the photos don't do it justice, it looks like a pretty sketchy angle.

Yep, felt like a decent angle to me, Troy, especially when it rocked further than what the pics show. :D

Deefer, it was supposed to be YOUR hole!

Time for me to sign out. It's been great! This Forum has been an awesome source of information and caused a great drain on my wallet. The Hilux has now gone to a new owner and I have just signed to buy an '03 Land Cruiser Sahara V8.

I'm sure I'll drop in occasionally to see what is happening in the Hilux World. Bless Tapatalk for easy forum browsing. :-)
I've told the buyer about the site, so I'm sure he'll check it out and hopefully continue on with the build up.
All the best, mate!
