Thanks everyone, really is much appreciated. Yes its not concluding just yet, maybe slowing down would be a better term. As for the colour according to my panel beater its one of the hardest paint jobs to match. Metallic, pearlescent, has a flip (terminology he used) plus another term which I dont fully understand. I kinda feel bad about scratching it now hahaha.

I have no idea how you bust a CV boot just with normal driving but I've managed it. Oh well welcome to IFS I guess.

Grab a pic of the entire unit. Which the after market CVs they seem to have a weaker rubber boot which leads to them breaking. Wouldn't be too concerned unless it does it again

New CV in, the broken one was what appears to be a genuine because it only had three ribs on the outer boot. I've got a new boot kit to put on it to use as a spare. I didnt bother taking photos because you've all seen that a million times before. Instead I cleaned her up real purdy like and took some photos enjoy.

Went over to a mates place who has a spare set of 33's. Test fitted them up and I'd need very little to get that to work, take the mudflaps off and flatten the pinch weld and it should be sweet. Oh and the jungle flares are all sweet. Really happy with how they turned out.

So after a few puffs of smoke, some feedback readings, and a few thousand dollars the Ultra-Luxe is due to be back in my possession today. Had new injectors, seats, leak-offs, tapit cover seals and injector lines. I'll be pulling the EGR apart on the weekend and blocking the bastard off. After that I'm going to a favourite 4WD spot to chill out and enjoy the stressful money pit that is my car haha.

Alrighty then. Its been a few months and not alot has veen going on with the Ultra-Luxe. I installed a HPD catch can and permanently mounted some strip lighting in my awning. Still have the ladder rack to modify and I'm pretty sold on shortening and refinishing my tray. Phat bars underbody protection will be forthcoming in the following weeks. Just had a laugh at my previous posts saying the build was done... Not bloody likely hahaha.

Gotta say a big thanks to Phat bars for the new UVP. Great product and top service. There's something to be said for having holes line up first time!

Tray revamp has started! Ladder rack and roofrack on with lightbar relocated and one awning on, another awning to go on, for when I get some more bolts! Haha

Other awning on and maxtrax mounted. Now to relocate the lightbar again. Losing to much light on the roof.
