Thanks everyone!

I'm really happy to be able to help out as a moderator. This is a great forum, it doesn't wander off track to politics or bagging other brands like some others out there.

I've learnt a lot from this forum, it has saved me $$$$$ keeping my 2005 lux going. I have regular access to a fleet of new hiluxs as well, so I've had a bit of time in the Gen8 models - so some experience there as well.

I do make mistakes so I apologise in advance if I delete your comments/threads

Couldn't help it.....Apparently theres a new NP300 out in the Simpson suffering from the same problem... Took the young bloke at Mt Dare 18hrs straight to get out to this one and then 2 days to get it back in.

And here I am watching Ronny talk about overweight vehicles.

Have you seen the recent chats elsewhere about that DMAX on the Canning?

No. But it wasnt the only thing at Mt Dare. There was a jeep Cherokee that had been towed in . Rear diff had gone, then he tried to crawl in using front diff...until it died too. The roads out there (and the simpson) are the worst they have been in the 8 years the young bloke had been out there. Took 6 hours to do 230kms from Oodnadatta to Mt Dare. Last 10 kms to Dare took 30 minutes alone :?
