A long awaited feature was implemented today, you are now allowed to embed YouTube videos directly for viewing in your post.

The method for doing this is as follows:
Code: Select all

or click the YOUTUBE button in the advanced edit window.

You should only enter the url link which looks like this and no other extras:

eg.

Code: Select all

RULES:

1. Only youtube videos are allowed, the content of the video must suit the topic and the thread area to be allowed, off topic video posting is not allowed and the poster may be warned at the moderating teams discretion.
2. No restricted age videos are allowed
3. No videos which could be interpreted to contravene the forum guidelines will be allowed.
4. Any video deemed inappropriate for this forum will be removed and the poster may be warned at the moderating teams discretion.
5. If you at all feel the slightest that a video may offend, DO NOT POST IT, you will be warned.
6. Sexist or racist videos will not be tolerated

Otherwise enjoy and have fun

I'm sure that will be ok Dan.

The rules are more common sense than anything else.

You need to take this section off.... &feature=player_embedded

Best to use the link from the top of the browser window NOT the embedded code

Fridgie....

awesome mate , thanks for the assistance. Just to add, you not only remove the &feature=player_embedded but also anything else to the end of the address that is after this. 8-)
