Bumping this ancient thread.
Heading down to Alice Springs in a couple weeks. Will be due for a service by the time I get there.
Can anyone recommend a service workshop that doesnt have a history of horror reviews?

Country Diesel Service is probably the best you will find in Alice.
We used to get out work Landcrusiers serviced there and I was happy with the work they did on my Patrol.
