Has anyone had any coolant hoses fail due to age and if so what coolant were you running.
This red coolant Toyota is running keeps all the metal bits looking bettet than new, but how do the hoses hold up?

No, I've not had one fail on my 05 1kd. I have never taken them off (edit: I have replaced the water pump) and only use the genuine coolant.

I do admit I am a fanboi of genuine parts.
I might be wrong.

Hiluxury, what did the internals look like when you did the water pump?
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

That was a while ago... before 150,000kms. It was clean as above.
