After being low on oil I might have overdone it I'd about 5mm above the top 'dot' on the stick.
Now 2 days later the warning light (the orange spanner) comes on as I turn on the car. It blinks a few times and then remains quiet for the rest of the trip.
The manual does not mention this behaviour. Only that it's time to service the oil if this light stays on and reset it afterwards.
1. Can anyone tell me what this behaviour means? 2. Anyone an idea on how to get the little overfill (guess I'd like about 0.2 Liters out) out of there without dumping the full 6-something liters or having to screw in a drain plug while oil is pooring over my face?

0.2ltrs won't be a problem since when the engine is running the level is much lower, 0.2lts is barely noticeable The light could indicate over/underfilled and probably goes out when the engine is running to reduce the level to read ok??
