Bolt sizes

Postby GD40 on Fri, 18 Jan 2019 12:29 +0000

Hey all,

Recently unbolted my ARB bash plates from underneath my car and wanted to replace the bolts.

I went down to the local bolt shop and screwed the bolts into the guide, no worries 8x1.25 so I bought a few boxes.

Now when I bolt the bash plate into the chassis it doesn't go in hand tight, then the bolts are different sizes going into the bullbar.

This is a nightmare.

Does anyone have any idea the size and thread of the bolts that go into the chassis and the same for the bullbar?

Thanks,

GD

I thought all the bolts for the same size just different length maybe your previous bolts have been over tightened and pulled the threads
