Ryco Z418ST oil filter

I was at Supercrap today buying the only thing worth spending money on in that store (oil and filters) and came across a special oil filter the Ryco Z418ST. Anyone used one before and are they worth the extra $9? apparently they are fully synthetic and filter 99.8% of the contaminants plus they have a 15,000km service interval.
