The best you can get Penrite pro gear.

Perfectly suitable oil

Don't use LSD oil if you have Arb air lockers.
I Use
Image for transfer, manual & Arb lockers.
New DENSO Injectors are the go! New genuine parts.

Check your injectors about every 10,000k.
WARNING check oil pickup screen is clear
no chips no tune ups - why increase risk of piston cracking?

Thanks mate, was looking on the Penrite website for my year model Lux it says for the front diff to use the trans gear 75w-90 if it has an A.D.D shift actuator and to use the 80w-90 of it doesn't have one, got me a bit confused as I'm not sure exactly what that is and if mine has one

The story goes, the additive is what affects the seal & causes the leaks.

Either of those oils will be good.
For the rear, if you want the best get pro gear.

Contact the customer help dept at penrite by email, very helpful and will give you all the tech stuff you need in simple language, and just have a look at the front of your front diff and see if it has an ADD housing .

Wondered the same thing when I read this.
Same as Dooma, been using Castrol LSD diff oil in my ARB locker - 8 years still good.

SR5 has ADD (automatically disconnecting diff)
SR does not

Thanks for mentioning that, I was wondering if that box in front of the front diff was ADD as it has it's own breather.

I wouldn't use the trans gear 75/90 in your diff, it's a gearbox oil not a diff oil. Contrary to what the numbers say it is a lot lighter than 80/90 gear oil and the trans gear is not for hypoid type gears. Correct me if I'm wrong.
