Solved: Brake warning light.

After buying the Lux, I decided to replace the majority of the brake components (rear drums/cylinders, rebuild front calipers/rotors and master cylinder) as it was not stopping well. After putting it all back together, I was getting the brake warning light and after pumping the brake quickly the light would brighten. Anyhow, I worked out the problem, it was the reed switch in the new master cylinder. I measured the resistance of the two wires and it was not 0 Ohms/Normally closed despite the reservoir being full . Once I exchanged it for the old reed switch out of the original master cylinder (which measured 0 Ohms), the light went away. Hopefully, this helps someone out,

I had loads of problems with my 80 series master cyls. Ended up unplugging the sensor so it went off on the dash rather than keep on replacing and bleeding brakes
