Which oil for 200k petrol

Which oil for 200k petrol 08 v6. I have some nulon full synthetic 5w 30 at home but have been told it is to thin for older engine and to use a 10w 40 I live in qld and coming up to summer with a moreton trip at xmas time should I use the 5w 30 or 10w 40 it hasnt used a drop of oil since I bought it 6 months 5k ago snd the exaust tip is still clean.

Mine v6 got 200,i use valvevaline 10-30,dont have any probs with it

Just worried that a 30 weight might not be good enough if its a hot summer and doing sand driving

In between 10 -11000 k services i tow a 14 foot caravan & do beach driving & i dont need to top up ,try 10 -40 if the motor gets a bit clacky go back to what u were usig or what the service manual says
