Glazed brakes

Hi.
I recently had my 05 d4d hilux serviced and I asked them to see if they could fix my squeaky brakes. When I got my truck back they told me they couldn't fix it because they were very 'GLAZED' and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this??

Grab a bit of medium grit emery paper, rough the pads and shoes up. You'll see them change from a shiney finish to a matte finish. Clean out the dust from the grooves in the pads too.

If you have whiteish l looking brake pads they are stuffed. The glue that holds them together can over heat causing glazing. This also makes the brake pad as hard as a rock. Thus squeaky brakes and shit braking. The white looking glue then glazes the rotors. So a pad change and light sand of the rotors can make a huge difference.
