Cabin Air Filter

I can not find any where on the net that shows me how to change the cabin air filter, can anyone help me I have pulled the glove box out and can see where the filter is but I can not see how to pull the front off to get it out and check it. Please help.

There are 4 (I think) plastic moulded clips that hold the front plate on. Carefully pry them open (only just enough) one at a time whilst gently moving the front plate forward.
A mirror (small shaving type) may help the first time to see where the clips are.

Depending on your model, you may not have a cabin filter.

Please try and use the search function before creating a new topic. Always try and continue on a pre existing topic. An alternative to using the built in search is to use google---newhilux.net filter, and click show more results from newhilux.net.

Here's the link to the cabin filter mod. It shows you a picture of the lid, if it is fitted to your car. If it isn't, it will just have a blank outline craved into the plastic.

Just changed the advanced search option to look at topic titles only.
